Website Copywriting

Is website copywriting the same as standard copywriting for print media?

No.

Online people have shorter attention spans as they are looking at a computer screen. They want to be able to read fast, navigate with ease and find what they are looking for. If they don’t they will soon move on to a new website where they can.

Too much bulky text can feel like too much hard work. If they can’t navigate with ease they will move on.

Top tips:-

  • Keep things simple; short sharp copy
  • Use bold letters for highlighting points
  • Use bullet points
  • Easy to navigate links
  • Drive the customer to the buying page
