Summary
Buffalo TeraStation Pro II iSCSI offers high speed and reliable iSCSI storage solution with affordable price for Soho/SMB users. The iSCSI protocol transports simple SCSI storage commands over standard TCP/IP networks and it is mounted as local drive on client computers. Therefore it has fewer restrictions of backup applications. i.e. NAS can not be target devices of Windows Server standard backup applications, but iSCSI can. Up to 60MB/s data transfer is twice as fast as USB connection and suitable for using large files.
Description
The TeraStation can support up to 10 separate volumes (via LVM), each can be associated with a single user and all can be accessed simultaneously. RAID redundancy reduces the risk to lose data because of hard drives failure and keep your data secure. If one hard drive fails, it can be rebuilt with replaced drive. TeraStation Pro II iSCSI is high speed, large capacity, reliable and affordable storage solution for backup from Windows Servers and PCs in your network.
